CleanSeaNet: Browser System Requirements

The EMSA CleanSeaNet Browser application requires:

• Java runtime (JRE) 1.5 or later, from http://www.sun.com/java and a Web browser capable of launching a java web-start application;
• The minimum recommended computer memory is 512 MB;
• There must be no firewall block on HTTP to *.ksat.no;
• The user must accept the digital certificate provided on the java web-start application by KSAT.

The CleanSeaNet Broswer client has been tested on Linux with Firefox, and Windows XP with IE, Firefox and Opera.

For VISARD users only, the s/w tool can be downloaded from: http://www.tss.no/visard/

Please note that VISARD is not supported by EMSA and is not part of the standard EMSA delivery. Further to this HDF-5 file delivery will be stopping in the near future.
